Designing a calm and confident booking journey
Stayinn is a mobile accommodation booking application designed to help users discover and reserve stays with ease. The goal of the project was to create a smooth, trustworthy, and clutter-free booking experience that reduces confusion often found in travel apps.
One of the major challenges was information overload. Booking platforms typically present too many options, filters, and pricing details at once. The design needed to guide users clearly from search to confirmation while maintaining clarity and confidence at every step.
Creating clarity in decision-making
I structured the experience into a guided flow: search, explore, compare, and confirm. Essential details such as price, ratings, amenities, and cancellation policies were prioritized to help users make quick and informed decisions.
Filters and sorting were redesigned to be simple and intuitive, allowing users to refine results without disrupting their browsing journey. Visual hierarchy and whitespace were used intentionally to reduce cognitive load.
The final outcome delivers a streamlined and reassuring booking process. By focusing on usability, transparency, and visual clarity, the app enables users to book their stays with confidence and ease.
