Stayinn · Mobile App
Objective
Simplify the stay booking process and help users make confident booking decisions.
Project Overview
Stayinn is a mobile booking application that allows users to search, compare, and reserve accommodations. The goal of the project was to create a clear and trustworthy booking experience where users can quickly find suitable stays and complete reservations without confusion. Many travel apps overwhelm users with filters, pricing variations, and too much information. The platform needed to guide users step-by-step from discovery to confirmation while maintaining clarity and confidence.
The Problem
Booking a stay requires decision-making. Users must compare options, understand pricing, and trust the listing before making a reservation. Existing booking experiences often present too many choices and unclear information, causing hesitation. Users struggled with: comparing properties understanding final pricing trusting listing details completing bookings confidently The main issue was decision fatigue — users browsed but delayed booking because they were unsure.
Key Challenges
• Large amount of listing information
• Too many filtering options
• Unclear pricing visibility
• Low user confidence before payment
• Multi-step booking friction
Users
Primary users were travelers looking for short stays and quick bookings. Many users were browsing on mobile devices and needed fast, clear decisions without reading long descriptions.
The experience had to be:
simple
informative
trustworthy
My Approach
I designed the experience to support guided decision-making. Instead of showing everything at once, the interface progressively reveals information as users move closer to booking.
Each screen answers a user question:
Where should I stay?
Is this a good option?
Can I trust it?
Should I book now?
This structure helps users move naturally toward confirmation.
