Objective
Help doctors quickly access patient information and manage cases without workflow delays.
Project Overview
Docroom is a healthcare application designed specifically for doctors to manage consultations, review patient records, and track case progress. The goal of the project was to simplify clinical workflows and reduce the time doctors spend navigating software. Unlike consumer apps, doctors use applications while multitasking and under time pressure. The interface needed to be clear, fast, and reliable so they could focus on patients instead of the system.
The Problem
Doctors often interact with software during busy clinic hours. Existing systems require multiple steps to access patient information, which slows down consultations and increases cognitive effort. The key issue was workflow interruption. Doctors needed to quickly view history, update notes, and continue consultation, but navigation complexity caused delays and frustration. The platform required an interface that minimized actions and allowed immediate understanding of patient data.
Key Challenges
• High-pressure usage environment
• Need for quick information retrieval
• Large amount of patient data
• Maintaining readability during long usage
• Preventing navigation confusion

Users
Primary users were practicing doctors handling multiple patient cases daily. They required an interface that works quickly even during continuous usage.
The design needed to be:
efficient
readable
distraction-free
My Approach
I focused on workflow optimization rather than visual styling. The goal was to reduce the number of steps required to complete common tasks such as viewing records, reviewing history, and updating case notes.
The interface was structured so doctors could understand patient information at a glance without searching across multiple screens.
